TGC experienced one of the most breathtaking landscape/architectural/botanic visual extravaganzas on our recent trip to Singapore when visiting the Gardens by the Bay. Strolling through the many gorgeous gardens and pergola areas were fun however, the hard-core-heart-racing moments were had via interaction with the magnitude of the massive man made domes on the foreshore - complete with waterfalls and their own ecosystems- it was second to none!
However amidst the vegetation-porn it was the small details that really caught our eye - such as the vegatated doorways into plantatation towers. Concealed while immediately recognisable by the exposed paths with paves as well as the colour differation between the lush yellow green leaves and smaller moss coloured succulents.
I love the magic of creating vegetated doors and portals within a landscaped environment. Regardless of the scale or location, there is so much delight in making the journey special! Vegetation and greenery becoming immersive and interactive = awesome.
